How to install and activate fedafone eSIM on Android (Google Pixel)?

Do not delete your eSIM under any circumstances. A deleted eSIM cannot be restored; you will have to buy a new one. If you need help with installation or activation, please contact our technical support, we will help you.

Installation

  1. Installation data

    After the purchase, the eSIM will appear in the “My eSIM” section (regardless of what you purchased through). Click on it and you will receive all the data necessary for installation.

  2. Settings

    Go to the “Settings” menu of your mobile phone, and then select the “Network and Internet” section. Make sure you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data).

  3. New eSIM

    In the "Network and Internet" section, click on the "+" icon next to the main cellular tariff to add a new tariff.

  4. Add eSIM

    At the bottom of the screen, select the "Download SIM card?" option, which will ask you if you want to use two SIM cards. Select the option "Yes". Wait a few seconds and continue the process.

  5. Installation via QR code or manual data entry

    Select "Add using QR code" or enter details manually. Follow the instructions on the screen.

  6. Download your mobile plan

    Wait a while until the eSIM is detected. Click the "Download" button to add it to your device.

    You must be in the destination for which you purchased the eSIM (country or region). Your eSIM will be activated when it connects to local mobile operator.

  7. Confirm installation

    The eSIM associated with this cellular plan is installed. You can turn data roaming on or off by going to "Settings" and opening your new fedafone cellular plan (we recommend turning it on only when you're in your destination).

  8. Name your new mobile plan

    If you want to change the eSIM name, click on the new plan and the edit icon in the top right corner. 
    We recommend giving it a name, for example, “Portugal 1GB”, for convenience.

Activation

  1. Settings

    Open the "Settings" menu and then go to the "Network & Internet" section.

  2. Select a tariff

    Select new fedafone eSIM plan from the list.

  3. Enabling data roaming

    Activate the new tariff by selecting the “Use SIM card” option.
