How to check eSIM compatibility on Android devices?

Quick check

If your device has a search, then enter “eSIM” in the search bar and go to the search result. If you see buttons for adding eSIM, then the device supports eSIM.

Manual check

Samsung devices

Go to the “Settings” menu of your mobile phone, then “Connections”, “SIM Card Manager”.

If you see “+ Add eSIM”, it means your device supports eSIM.

Google Pixel devices

Go to the “Settings” menu of your mobile phone, then “Network and Internet”. Click on the “+” button in the SIM cards section.

If on the “Connect to a mobile network” page there is an option “Download SIM card?”, then the device supports eSIM.

Other Android devices

Dial *#06# and press the call button. If your device supports eSIM, you will see a unique eSIM identification number (EID).
